Arrogant, yet somewhat accurate.  I like the comment about Thai food and salt. Thai restaurants drowning their dishes in salt seems to be strictly a Los Angeles thing, however.  UGH.  And can I just say that truffle oil doesn't make MOST food you would consider putting it on better?  Especially, that rancid, unnatural truffle oil most chefs and cooks seem to be opting for.
