Watched Speciesism: The Movie at three in the morning. Does its fair share of proselytizing, but I suppose that's the purpose of the film? Properly questions the assumption that humans are superior to animals,
and compares our species-ism to the other "isms" that have blighted
our past: racism, sexism, etc. and the horrific results of our desire to make animals service our
perceived needs (food/clothing/entertainment/research).
On another note, I loved this book. A good memoir and a solid case against factory farming.
